How much do you charge ?
Our charges are based on the date, times, duration and location of your function, as almost every function is different.
Booking Andys Discos. Do you confirm in writing ?
Yes all bookings are confirmed in writing. We will send an invoice showing all the details about your function including our terms & conditions contract which will need to be signed & returned within 7 days.
How do I pay ?
A non refundable £50 deposit will be required within 7 days to guarantee the booking, you may pay the full amount if you wish. We accept cheque or Bank transfer. After booking is confirmed we ask for the remaining amount to be paid in full 28 days before any event.
Have you got Public Liability Insurance ?
We hold £10m Public Liability Insurance cover, a copy of our current certificate is available on request.
What about Health & Safety – is your equipment tested ?
Equipment is Portable Appliance Tested (PAT) annually in accordance with Health & Safety. A copy of our test certificate is available on request.
Have you got a ProDub Licence ?
Yes, we have a ProDub Licence which allows us to transfer our music collection from Vinyl, Cd, Mp3, to a digital format such as a flash drive or laptop.
What kind of music do you play ?
We play the music you want to hear, at a volume that you want. From 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s 90’s to Today. Motown, Northern Soul, Rock n Roll, Dance, R&B, Indie, Charts, Hip Hop, Rock, House, Trance, Old Skool, Party Songs.
Will you play music requests ?
Yes, You request it we will play it. We also put music request slips on your table so you can pick the songs you want to hear.
Can you play my requested music playlist ?
Yes, We can play your requested music playlist. If you send us your music request list at least 28 days before your event.
What if you don’t have my requested music playlist song ?
We will buy any tracks that we do not already have, assuming that they’re currently available on UK Release.
Can you play for longer ?
Yes, I can play longer. Extensions are charged at £50ph and are subject to agreement in advance.
How long does it take you to setup ?
We would need at least 1 hour to set up. If the venue is upstairs we may require a bit longer for our set up time.
Do you play explicit songs ?
No, Andys Discos does not play any (EXPLICIT) Songs.
What is your cancellation policy ?
Cancellation within 1 mth of the function – full amount payable.
Cancellation greater than 1 mth – loss of deposit only.
The venue has asked to see your insurance & PAT certificates ?
It is becoming a requirement for venues especially the larger hotel chains to insist all mobile Dj’s working on there premises to have Public Liability Insurance & P.A.T Tested Equipment.
We are covered by 10M Public Liability Insurance. All Our equipment is P.A.T tested for your safety. I would be happy to send the venue a copy of my insurance certificates.
The risks of booking a DJ without Public Liability Insurance ?
